The Talcott Mountain Science Center & Academy offers fun and exciting STEM programs for K-8 students at our mountain-top campus in Avon, CT. We have vacation programs during school breaks, seasonal homeschool classes, and 7 weeks of our Summer of STEM Adventures. We also offer volunteer positions in our summer programs for high school students.
Talcott Mountain Science Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization in Avon, Connecticut dedicated to the improvement of science education by working directly with students, teachers, and the general public.
For over 50 years, TMSC has maintained a growing facility with new technologies and new buildings but have remained committed to the principal that children learn by doing and benefit from the passion of inspired teachers.
