This one-hour tour explores Reverend Horace Bushnell’s vision for the Bushnell Park, “an outdoor parlor” where the public could come together. Learn about the beautiful historical monuments and statuary in the park, including the Horace Wells statue, the Charter Oak Scion and its history, and the Corning Fountain. Following the park tour, the Park Guides will open the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch for those who wish to climb the 96 steps to the top.
