Join us at the Talcott Mountain Science Center for an upbeat and enlightening
evening observing the night sky from the top of Talcott Mountain.
Arrive on campus and catch a glimpse of the
colorful sky from the top of Talcott Mountain.
As we wait for the stars to shine, we'll head into the
Captain Alan M. Bean Planetarium to learn about
the night
sky - including the stories behind the stars and myriad of
constellations that virtually
create pictures in the sky.
Finally, we'll head outdoors for celestial viewing atop Talcott Mountain.
With a wide array of telescopes at our disposal,
we'll be looking for stars, planets (including
Venus)
and other celestial gems including Ursa Major, Gemini and other celestial gems!
$8 General Admission/$5 TMSC Members
Because seating is limited and events fill up quickly, we recommend making your reservations early!
*PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME! Late arrivals will not be allowed to enter the planetarium
after
the presentation begins at 7:30pm; they will, however, be able to participate in outdoor
viewing
with the group when the planetarium program concludes.
