TMSC Presents: May Skygazing

*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 05/24/2019
Did you know that only 16 of the 39 Mars missions have been successful? Make it your mission to observe Mars, learn about constellations, and have fun at TMSC!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

As we wait for the stars to shine, we'll head into the Captain Alan M. Bean Planetarium to learn about the night sky - including the stories behind the stars and myriad of constellations that virtually create pictures in the sky. Finally, we'll head outdoors to observe the waning gibbous moon, and the last glimpse of Mars before the summer!

With a campus built upon a former Nike Missile site -- tucked away high atop Talcott Mountain -- we have the advantage of a clear view over the Farmington Valley!

Join us at the Talcott Mountain Science Center for an upbeat and enlightening evening observing the night sky. With a wide array of telescopes at our disposal, you won’t want to miss this out-of-this-world experience!
