Camp Kippewa is an overnight camp in Maine for girls ages 7 - 15 offering two distinct sessions of 3+ weeks. Campers select from a broad range of activities to create weekly schedules. Camp Winaukee is an all boys traditional overnight summer camp for boys ages 8 - 15. We offer excellent sports instruction amidst a well-rounded traditional summer camp program. Immerse your child in nature all summer long! The Indian Rock Summer Camp, located on the beautiful 280-acre Indian Rock Nature Preserve, is the perfect opportunity for your child to explore their natural interests, stay healthy, and make friends! Sessions begin in June and run through August. MARINE MAMMAL MANIA Campers will launch into the world of marine mammals, discovering what makes them so special. Students will learn key aspects of what it takes to be a successful business leader while having fun through roleplay, faculty instruction, strategy games, hands-on activities, and more.

Mystic Seaport Museum offers a number of summer camps and programs that provide a unique learning adventure! Our wide selection of Summer Day Camps offers campers ages 4 to 16 a kid’s-eye-view of maritime history as they explore the Museum. Community Sailing day camps let kids ages 6 to 15 build and refine their sailing skills with our sailing instructors out on the Mystic River. Our residential, Joseph Conrad Overnight Camp invites campers 8 to 15 to spend a week with us, learning to sail by day, doing fun maritime themed activities in the evenings, and sleeping aboard a historic ship by night. And teens 15 and up can sail along the coast as part of the crew of the schooner Brilliant. Select the camp that best suits your children and give them a summer to remember at Mystic Seaport Museum! Back by popular demand! Our Seaport Sea Stars program introduces young sailors ages 6 and 7 to the concepts of wind, balance, and basic sailboat controls in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Instruction takes place in shallow water and light wind to help campers build confidence and discover that sailing is exciting—not intimidating. Campers should feel comfortable wearing a lifejacket (required whenever they are near or on the water) and have some basic comfort swimming or floating. This class is taught in Prams—small, single-sail boats similar to Optis—by an experienced U.S. Sailing–certified instructor and a Red Cross–certified lifeguard. Lessons are tailored to each camper’s maturity level, with assistance from Counselors in Training, who may sail with campers as needed. Our goal is for our littlest sailors to leave with new friends, new skills, and the joy of knowing sailing is fun.

Spend a week learning about psychology and the breadth of vocational paths that it offers! Expect to learn a lot more about yourself and the people around you as you participate in a variety of activities.

Mystic Aquarium and Mystic Seaport Museum are sailing the Mystic River together again! Participants in this joint camp start their day at the Aquarium with hands-on programs to learn about what lives in and around the Mystic River by meeting with husbandry staff and peeking behind the scenes, as well as the conservation of local aquatic ecosystems. Then campers travel to Mystic Seaport Museum where they will be actively sailing in boats on the Mystic River each afternoon. Campers will need to come prepared to be on the water each day as the campers will be the ones sailing the boats. Campers will enjoy learning the basics of sailing terminology, seamanship skills including knot tying and rigging, boat handling, and the enjoyment of sailing. This camp provides your camper with the unique opportunity to see the Mystic River from above and below as they also learn to sail.

Summer Discovery Adventures are immersive, week-long day programs that give kids a chance to step back in time and experience life in the 1830s at Old Sturbridge Village. Every session offers kids the opportunity to explore an aspect of 19th-century history and daily life. All programs include an afternoon snack, hands-on crafts, and the chance to learn something new while making lasting friends and memories.

Heldeberg Workshop offers outdoor classes in science, fine art, folk art, performing arts, and high adventure for children entering kindergarten through high school. Our classes are led by experts, artisans, and certified teachers who want to share their knowledge and skills with kids.

In Flanders' popular summer camp and academies series, children can explore nature, art, agriculture, and ecology in a fun healthy and stimulating outdoor environment. From farming fun to outdoor explorations, art adventures or creative cooking, our summer camp offers more than 70 programs to keep children ages 3 to 13 entertained! Great spaces, great programs – for all ages!

Join us for a fun week of camp with teaching artist Bernadette Scott of the Seneca Nation/Haudenosaunee Confederacy! Students will be learning the cultural importance of traditional and contemporary Haudenosaunee cornhusk art by making cornhusk dolls, flowers, braids, baskets, and trees.

Campers are invited to spend a week at Mystic Aquarium, where they will learn about the STARS, both famous and not so famous, who are found here. Campers will be engaged in learning about the many different animals that call Mystic Aquarium home, from our ever-playful Beluga, Juno, to the elusive Wobbegong shark. But the fun does not stop there! Campers will also learn about the dedicated staff who work here and make this Aquarium such a special place. Campers will also have an exciting day at Bluff Point State Park where they will bounce in the marsh, go for a hike and try to catch some crabs.
